I had a great service at Dentists of Silver Spring. Dr Gillin was amazing from beginning to end. Made me welcome and safe. Did exceptional job on my crown that was messed up from my Turkey visit. I recommend him very much.

Dentists are top notch. Front staff, except for a couple, consistently make me feel unwelcome and as if I'm intruding upon their day. I'm pretty sure I can find top notch dentists and competent front office personnel somewhere else. At some point, it's not worth it.

A bit surprised to read the Yelp reviews as they are very negative, but the google reviews along more with the experience I had - which was generally positive. Overall good service and I will probably come back. A couple of critiques though: when I arrived there was no one at the front desk for about ten minutes, apparently they were in a meeting, but there was no sign on the desk explaining this. If it weren't for another patient in the office who explained that they had all gone to a meeting I would not have understood why there were no staff at the front desk. Also, while almost everyone at the office was very friendly and courteous, I found the dental assistant (at least I believe it was the dental assistant) to be a little curt; and I found her instructions/commands to be difficult to understand as she mumbled and spoke quickly - if English were not my first language, she would have been unintelligible. Those things aside, it was overall a good visit as mentioned.
